Job #24107: Ambulatory Palliative Care Physician in Beautiful Southern Oregon! ** $50K Sign-on Bonus**

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Annual base salary of $220,000
  • Annual performance incentives of up to 16% of base salary starting in year 2
  • Signing bonus of $50,000
  • Up to $15,000 relocation assistance
  • Annual CME allowance of $5,000
  • 240 hours (30 clinic days) of authorized time off per year

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a palliative care clinic in cancer center.
  • Develop and implement a palliative care clinic in local heart and lung clinics.
  • Provide outpatient palliative care consults in conjunction with a social worker.
  • Collaborate with inpatient palliative care and hospice team to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals of patients.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Palliative Medicine
  • Minimum of two years practicing as a Palliative Care physician, or at least two years practicing in a primary medical area before starting a Palliative Medicine fellowship
  • Prior experience in starting palliative care programs or clinics would be of great value but is not required.
  • OR medical license or able to obtain
  • Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid and other federal programs
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the work
