Hospice Physician

The Company: For more than 40 years, our client has been honored to be Pinellas County’s community hospice for expert end-of-life care. As one of the first nonprofit hospices in the country, our pioneering volunteer founders supported the dying and their families with care, compassion, dignity and comfort so that no one would die alone or in pain.

The Position: Our Client is looking for a Hospice Physician to join their growing team. The pay range our Client is offering is a $200,000 - $220,000 Salary.

Requirements:

• Board certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties’ recognized specialty that deals with care of the terminally ill, such as Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Oncology or Geriatrics preferred
• Active Florida license

Responsibilities:

• Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
• Call schedule is 1:12
• Knowledge and experience in palliative medical practice and symptom management
• Basic keyboarding and computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word or comparable programs
• Providing support to RN's & LPN's in the field seeing patients in their homes
• Ability to make home/residence visits
• No late nights
