**Fellowship Director of Palliative Care opportunity in Pennsylvania** 30 miles from Pittsburgh **Position Details:** - Full-time, permanent, hospital-employed position - Not-for-profit community hospital located in Washington, PA, is seeking a Board Certified Palliative Medicine Physician to join an established palliative/hospice service. - This unique opportunity is open to an enthusiastic candidate interested in enhancing a quality palliative medicine program while leading a fellowship training program. - Inpatient consultation service averaging 8-10 patients per day - Continue development of outpatient services - Recruitment of fellowship candidates - Develop and direct the approved Fellowship in accordance with the general and specialty-specific regulations - Shared call with up to 4 other providers **Requirements:** - Fellowship trained preferred - Hospice and Palliative Medicine (Board Certified) - Prefer 2 years post graduate clinical experience - Teaching experience preferred - M.D. or D.O. **About the Group:** Located in Washington, Pennsylvania, the medical group also has multiple outpatient sites throughout Washington and Greene counties. It has 265 beds in addition to a 16-bassinet nursery and an 8-bed residential hospice.
