Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking an experienced and collaborative Section Chief of Palliative. This position will play a key leadership role in advancing the mission, operations, and services of the division within the Department Medicine.
Westchester Medical Center is passionate and dedicated to integration and growth of palliative care medicine and philosophy throughout our 10-hospital network including inpatient, outpatient, home, and teaching environments. Our multidisciplinary team consists of, nurse practitioners, lcensed clinical social workers, and a chaplain. Successful candidates will demonstrate exemplary and compassionate clinical skills and embrace a collaborative interdisciplinary team approach.
Qualifications
Candidates must be board certified or eligible in hospice and palliative medicine and be able to demonstrate clinical, administrative and educational leadership. Candidates should have an aptitude for mentoring and staff development.

Qualifications
Candidates must be board certified or eligible in hospice and palliative medicine and be able to demonstrate clinical, administrative and educational leadership. Candidates should have an aptitude for mentoring and staff development.
In addition, candidates must have:
- Doctor of Medicine with five (5) years of clinical experience beyond training and one (1) year of administrative experience.
- A minimum of one-year experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Current state medical license in good standing
- Credentialed for full scope of practice
- Management and leadership experience preferred
- Experience with quality improvement methodology preferred
