Job Specifics

  • Rapidly growing practice seeks as physician leader who will be actively participating in full-time clinical work while leading an interdisciplinary team, currently consisting of four (4) physicians, providing palliative care 24/7 to adult patients.
  • This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in palliative education at all levels including medical students, multiple residency programs and our Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship program. The Central Region Medical Director of Palliative Care will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
  • Each team (lead by a physician or advanced practice nurse) sees an average of six to eight patients per day.
  • Lead clinical practice including inpatient, outpatient and hospice to ensure patients receive smooth, coordinated palliative care.
  • Requirements: Hospice and Palliative Medicine Certification or eligibility, with a requirement to certify within the first two years of employment.
