- Teaching affiliate of University of Connecticut School of Medicine
- Comprehensive integrated healthcare system with 6 hospitals, rehab and home care, behavioral health and large multi specialty medical group
- Progressive and expanding organization with over 600 providers
- 1900 trauma admissions, 100,000 ED visits, more than 3000 ICU annual admissions
