The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), located in coastal Charleston, SC, has an exciting opportunity for a Transplant Hepatology clinician-educator to join our nationally recognized Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Ideal candidates will have:
- Completed an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in Gastroenterology
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology
- A strong commitment to clinical research
Completion of a 4th year of Transplant Hepatology training required
Opportunity Details:
- Join a highly collegial team of 14 clinical faculty and 6 APPs, with providers focused on General GI, Hepatology, GI sub-specialties, and Advanced Endoscopy
- Expand outpatient clinics and endoscopy procedures throughout Charleston
- Inpatient coverage in rotation with other hepatologists
- Call in rotation with other general GI and Hepatology faculty
- A dedicated clinical support team of coordinators and transplant staff
- Strong collaborative support from Transplant Surgery, GI Pathology, GI Radiology, and Pediatric GI
