Job Description

Last Update: 2/01/24
A well-established and financially sound private practice in Virginia needs an additional hem-onc or med-onc due to growth. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm with a 1:3 call. The incoming physician can expect to see 15 to 18 patients per day on average. You will have a full staff support, so you can concentrate on patient care. Enjoy state-of-the-art technology and access to research and clinical trial databases. The medical oncology suite infusion center offers chemotherapy, biotherapy, and infusion. Come join 2 other experienced hem-oncs with radiation oncology procedures done on-site with a full-time radiation oncologist on staff. Oncology nurse navigators are also on staff. They welcome practicing physicians, recent graduates, or candidates in a fellowship.

This hospital-employed position offers a generous compensation package. You will also receive a relocation package, a sign-on bonus, stock purchase plan, loan repayment, full medical/dental/vision benefits, life insurance/disability, PTO, 1 week of CME and $3,000 stipend, a 401(k) retirement plan with match, and malpractice coverage. They will also assist with DEA, licensing, and membership fees.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great organization where you can share your skills and expertise. With access to the largest bank of temporary and permanent positions nationwide, CompHealth will help you find a practice opportunity that truly matches your criteria.
