Hematologist/Oncologist opening in Minnesota ~Located in Albert Lea, MN ~Rochester 1hr; Minneapolis 1.5hrs Clinic is seeking a Medical Oncologist-Hematologist to join our practice in Albert Lea, MN. Our comprehensive, high-tech, and newly expanded Cancer Center is structured to maximize benefit to both the patient and provider. ~Full Time ~Permanent ~Join a team of 2 physicians (including this opportunity), 1 advanced practice providers, and 1 Radiation Oncologist. ~On-site chemotherapy and radiation oncology services are provided as well as support services by a dedicated team in the Cancer Center. ~Additional team members include oncology clinical nurse specialists; oncology certified nursing staff, an R.N. care coordinator and oncology certified social worker, dietician, occupational therapy and a dedicated financial counselor. ~The practice includes a mix of medical oncology and hematology with access to on-site clinical trials. ~Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 ~No Outreach License or certification Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Oncology and are preferred to be board-certified/board-eligible in Hematology. Candidates will qualify for a Minnesota state medical license. Site description Albert Lea is a community of 18,000 in scenic Southern MN, surrounded by several lakes and located just 90 minutes south of Minneapolis and 60 miles from larger clinic in Rochester. Excellent family amenities include a community focus on education (new high school, superb test scores), 38 city parks, 6 nearby golf courses, cultural events, festivals, performing arts, 250 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, Blazing Star Recreational Trail, and Audubon Nature and Wildlife Preserve.
