A large medical center affiliated with a large (and growing) medical group is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in western Maryland.
Assignment details:
-Schedule: 4-5 days/week, 8-5
-Can credential in about 3 weeks
-Must have active VA license, no exceptions
-EMR: EPIC
-Call: 1:5 preferred

The facility does not do bone marrow transplant patients or acute leukemia. They see general oncology and hematology patients. They offer bone marrow biopsies, but typically the nurse practitioners perform these, so the locums will not need to do these.


Dates Needed: ASAP - ongoing, 3 month minimum, possibly more
Call Ratio/Schedule: 1:5
Case Load/PPD: 15
