Hospital is actively seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology physician to join the employed multi-specialty physician group in Beautiful University Community in East Texas. Hospital Physicians Group is an experienced network of providers serving the greater East Texas area. The team is fully committed to excellence in patient care and includes family physicians, pediatricians, and specialists in cancer care, rheumatology, orthopedics, and pulmonary medicine. The new physician will build the Oncological component of the practice and aid in addressing the large and mostly underserved patient population in East Texas. The position is outpatient based, as there is a robust Hospitalist program in place to handle inpatient admissions. Ramp-up is expected to be quick because there is very little competition. Our goal is to build a strong community cancer center. • Position is employed with the multi-specialty group • Within group, new physician will join one other Medical Oncologist and a Radiation Oncologist • Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8-5 • Must be BE/BC with an active Texas license (or in progress) Physicians enjoy a family-friendly small town with countless outdoor activities and a culture rich with history. Community is considered one of the most historic towns in Texas and offers a wide variety of attractions for visitors. If interested, please submit current CV for immediate consideration.
