VISTA's Permanent Placement Division is recruiting a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist for an expanding practice. Benefits of this full-time permanent position include:
Practice Benefits:
* Full-time outpatient position
* Schedule, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
* Average patients per day is 20
* Provide oversight for the infusion suite and consults in the hospital when needed (low numbers of consults)
* Member of the Cancer Center network
* ED and hospital consult service
* Shared practice and ED call
* Patient population is 70/30 hematology to oncology
* Regional tumor board
* State-of-the-art infusion suite with dedicated pharmacist
* Organization is staffed by an expansive network of physician specialists including emergency care, cardiology, cancer care, family medicine and women’s health among other services
* Also offered LIFE (Living Independently for Elders) a program of all-inclusive care for seniors, a Home Care program and a variety of affiliated physician practices
* EMR: Allscripts (outpatient), Cerner (inpatient)
* Board certified in Hematology and Oncology (if boarded in one, must have extensive experience with the other) - required
* BLS, ACLS - required
* Active Delaware license is highly preferred
