A large facility is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP.
The facility is located in northern Virginia.
This position is full-time clinic and call coverage. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Weekend duties include taking calls from patients and other providers, rounding on inpatient, and occasional inpatient consults. Weekday duties include clinic duties, shared inpatient rounding, and new inpatient consults. The locum will be on call rotation from 7 am-7 pm. There are an average of 0-2 callbacks on weekdays and 5 on weekends. Hospitalists do admissions from the ED. This facility uses EPIC for EMR.
