The Charleston Area Medical Center is seeking an exceptional clinician for the position of Chair/Director Hematology/Oncology. Applicants must be accomplished leader in the education of Hematology/Oncology Fellows and medical students as well as a faculty mentor with distinguished leadership abilities and scholarly activity.

The Chair/Director will provide leadership and administrative oversight to the Hematology/Oncology department, including academic, patient care, and quality improvement functions and serves as the key interface between CAMC administration operations management and the elected chief/medical staff structure. The successful candidate will also provide leadership management and oversight to key leadership positions in the department including the Fellowship Program Director and other program leaders.

Ideal applicants must be board certified in Hematology/Oncology, certified by the American Board of Hematology/Oncology, and eligible for licensure in the state of West Virginia. Medical leadership/administrative experience and knowledge of program development is required.
