Place of Performance: Department of Veterans Affairs Community Living Center, Fresno, CA 93702

Schedule: M-F 8 am – 4:30 pm

Length of Assignment: 1 Sep 19 – 29 Feb 19 with a 6-month government option period

License: The Contractor’s physician assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia) when services are performed onsite on VA property.

All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. Contractor physicians who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.

• Board Certification - Contractor’s physician shall be Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
• Shall be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current Unrestricted DEA certificate

Primary Duties:

• Diagnosis, evaluation, and management of various disease conditions related to Hematological and Oncological pathologies.

• Performance of clinical procedures such as:

• Bone Marrow Biopsies with microscopic evaluation
• Prescription of chemotherapy and other cancer agents

• Other duties as assigned, within the latest standards of evidence-based practice.
