The Levine Cancer Institute (LCI), of the Carolinas HealthCare System, is changing the course of cancer care by removing the barriers that separate patients from access to world-class research, breakthrough treatments and quality cancer care. LCI is building upon its strong network of affiliated hospitals and providers by increasing patient access to specialist, consultations, research offerings, program offerings and services to member institutions throughout North and South Carolinas.
One of our 12 cancer care network facilities, Levine Cancer Institute – Rutherford, is actively seeking to add a BC/BE Medical Oncologists in Forest City, NC. LCI – Rutherford is located on the premises of Rutherford Internal Medicine Associates, a multi-specialty clinic with 5 physicians and 7 advanced practitioners (also apart of Carolinas HealthCare System).
General details include:
• Join one physician, 2 advanced practitioners, 4 chemo nurses and 4 RNs
• Hospital rounding at Rutherford Hospital (a 143-bed facility)
• Average of 15 patients/day
• Call is 1:7 with nurse triage
• Practice has 10 infusion chairs
• Excellent work-life balance
