Job description We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Feb 9, 2026. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of at least 2 weeks per month with 8 am to 5 pm day shifts. The assignment involves providing comprehensive cancer care, including evaluations, examinations, and monitoring of treatment plans, with occasional hospital rounds communicated in advance.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct patient evaluations and physical examinations
  • Write prescriptions and provide specific cancer-related information to patients
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Perform chemotherapy and oversee infusions
  • Bone marrow biopsies (not required but considered a plus)
  • Complete hospital rounds when notified in advance

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology (grandfathered-in candidates considered)
  • California medical license required
  • Experience with EMR systems (Other)
