About The Job

As the face of our organization to patients, our Telehealth Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners are critical to delivering high quality, evidence-based care. If you’re passionate about improving women’s health outcomes through patient-centered care, this job is for you.

We’re looking for someone who believes that the way to better outcomes is through empathetic, patient-centric care. For too long, the healthcare system has ignored women and their preferences. We’re turning that model on its head by listening to women, hearing their preferences, and delivering high touch, evidence-based care that improves quality of life and important health outcomes.

Our longitudinal care model enables you to build relationships with patients over time, so you can track their progress and make sure they get better. Rather than focusing on quick, 6- or 12-minute appointments, you’ll spend up to 45 minutes with patients building an authentic bond, listening to their story, and work with patients in shared decision-making frameworks to achieve the best outcomes.

This is a part-time, fully-remote position that conducts visits via telehealth.

  • Build trust with patients by delivering empathetic care that balances evidence-based care, patient preferences and values, and invests in long-term patient outcomes.
  • Conduct follow-up visits, adjusting medications based on efficacy, safety, and side effects.
  • Work collaboratively with Visana’s Chief Medical Officer, health coaches, and other clinicians to deliver multidisciplinary, integrated care.
