First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System has an exciting opportunity for a Gynecologic Oncologist to join a busy practice on the West Coast of Florida. We are located in the highly desirable area of Sarasota, Florida only minutes from the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key, Longboat Key and Lido Key. Sarasota is located approximately 60 minutes south of Tampa and 1.5 hours north of Ft. Myers along the Gulf of Mexico. The area is known for its 'A' rated schools, great restaurants and a wide variety of activities for all ages.

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is breaking ground on a new Cancer Center which will be a 170,000 sq ft building to include 56 private suites for hospitalized cancer patients, nine (9) new operating rooms with a dedicated robotic surgery suite, integrative care services offering patient navigation and family/caregiver support and a rooftop cafe. A Radiation Oncology Center with two linear accelerators will open in Summer of 2020. An Outpatient Cancer Pavilion will be built on the grounds for the third and final phase.

The practice is staffed with a Gynecologic Oncologist and 2 APRNs who work in the office and assist with surgery as well as a team of clinical and administrative support staff. Chosen candidate will be on staff at one hospital and will provide quality comprehensive health assessments, evaluations, and consultations in the clinic and hospital.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have completed a Fellowship from an accredited program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Skilled in open and robotic procedures.
• Clinical research experience is welcomed but not required.
• Licensed in Florida is required, but we will consider candidates who are in process of applying.
