Gastroenterology Program Director
* Develop a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Area Medical Center
* Provide clinical care and teach medical students residents and fellows in the area of Gastroenterology
* Allocations of protected time to provide academic leadership as Program Director scholarly activities are highly encouraged and supported
* A minimum of five years of active faculty teaching experience in an ACGME accredited internal medicine residency or gastroenterology fellowship
* A progressive record of exceptional patient care in an academic, teaching hospital and/or community setting
* Faculty experience in clinical and didactic teaching and scholarly activity as defined by the ACGME Program Requirements
* Support or participate in education and/or clinical research
* Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills/experience, including an understanding of patient care quality improvement and patient safety processes
* Commitment to teaching of students, residents and fellows and promoting the ideal clinical learning environment
* Completed Fellowship and ABIM or AOBIM board certified in Gastroenterology
* Generous salary above MGMA 75% and benefits package including Health, Life, Liability and Long-Term Disability insurance plus Pension Plan
* $50K sign-on bonus
