Gastroenterology Opportunity - New Bern, NC (Riverfront City near the North Carolina Coast, Ideal Climate with a Bevy of Golf, Art and Recreation)

We currently have four GI physicians and one Advance Practice Practitioner on our team. We do provide ERCP and EUS services. We are firmly committed to developing a strong gastroenterology program. We have recently signed a new colorectal surgeon for our Surgical Specialists group. Our GI call is currently one in four during the week (for our patients) and one in seven for weekends (combined groups with a private practice). We split holiday coverage fairly between our group and a private practice group in town.

Job Summary: Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and conditions that effect the digestive system of adult men and women. Duties will include, but not limited to: performing examinations, ordering and interpreting, diagnostic and screening tests, prescribing and ordering medication as appropriate for patients' medical condition, and referring patients for further care as clinically appropriate.

Minimum Requirements: Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA. Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital. Board Certified or Board Eligible required.
