BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join an employed practice. There are currently two Gastroenterologist in the community and a need for a third to care for a region of approximately 50, 000 people. Two outpatient surgery centers are available on campus and a dedicated endoscopy suite for scopes performed in the hospital. One of the surgery centers is a joint venture with the hospital providing an opportunity for surgeons to purchase stock shares. Participation in the GI Hospitalist call rotation is 1: 4 and provides an additional source of revenue. The ideal candidate will also enjoy acting as a preceptor for the Medicine, Family Practice and Internal Medicine Residents during their GI rotations.
