OPEN POSITION:
Hospitalist - Gastroenterologist
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Weekly Schedule (note: this is NOT a 7 on / 7 off schedule)
- On-Call; 1:4
COMPENSATION:
- $425,000 Base Salary, dependent upon ERCP experience
- Generous Productivity Bonuses
- Malpractice Coverage

The new physician will rotate between two hospitals - one in each community.
COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice opened in the early 2000s with a focus on the prevention and treatment of problems of the digestive tract. They treat diseases and disorders of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas, as well as offer nutritional counseling and intervention. They use state-of-the-art technology in a compassionate, professional environment. The physicians and staff are dedicated to protecting patient privacy while ensuring that each patient is treated with respect, consideration, and dignity. They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will work in a hospitalist capacity, rotating between hospitals in Leesburg and The Villages. They will be employed by a private practice that provides hospitalist staffing.
Ample support, resources, and clinical assistants are always available.
The services of the practice include, but are not limited to:
- colonoscopy
- capsule endoscopy
- upper endoscopy
- ERCP
- and more
EHR systems are used in all locations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Florida medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Gastroenterology
- no experience required; recent graduates/residents welcome to apply
