$575,000 to $650,000 Potential | Love Teaching

Practice:

  • Help build a new Academic GI Division—fellowship and research
    • Started in April 2018—now a total of 12 GIs
    • Clinical side established
    • Teaching now—looking to have the fellowship program established within the next year
    • Research established within the next 4 years
  • 352-bed Level II trauma center
  • Service coverage area of 750,000
  • Built-in referrals: employs/contracts 125+ providers within our primary/secondary service coverage area
    • Currently backlogged with 1,200 procedures
    • Looking for someone who can do ERCPs and EUS
  • Support staff/equipment:
    • Endoscope center: 2 endoscope rooms with 1 ready to be added
    • 1 MA and 1 RN per provider
    • Scheduler
    • Option for NP/PA once fully ramped
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday—8:00a to 5:00p
    • 2 days: clinic—see on average 16 to 24 patients per day
    • 3 days: endoscopies—4 to 6 on ½ days and 8 on a full day
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Call: 1:7 to 1:10—depends on location
  • Accepting H1B visa candidate

Financials:

  • Base salary: employed—depends on experience and credentials
    • Contract term: 2 years
  • Sign-on bonus: $25,000
  • Vacation: 7 weeks
  • CME: no cap
  • Relocation: up to $12,500
