- Desired Schedule: Part-time (to work 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off).
- M-F, 8a-5p with Wednesday night call. Weekend call is 1:4 - 1:5 and moderate.
- Clinical Details
- Inpatient - hospital consultative practice.
- Typical GI procedures to include Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, food impaction. EUS and ERCP skills are optional.

- Current NY License
- Current BLS, ACLS
- BC is preferred
- Call
- Wednesday night call. Weekend call is 1:4 - 1:5 and moderate.
- Support Staff
- There are 4 Gastroenterologists on staff; three in private practice and one in hospital-based practice. All 4 physicians share on-call duties.
- EMR
- Soarian Clinicals for computerized provider order entry and MAK for Bar Code Medication Administration. Initiation of process to implement EPIC network-wide

- State of the art Critical Care Unit has 14 beds; Progressive Care Unit has 12 beds; 3 Cath Labs have digital equipment. 9 state-of-the-art ORs, a 27-room ED and newly constructed Interventional Radiology suites. The Cardiovascular short-stay unit includes 9 rooms for post-procedure and cardiac access patients. Ambulatory Surgery Center has 4 ORs and 4 Endo suites.
- Typical daily census is approximately 284 (approximately 170 acute beds) with 165 physicians on the medical staff. Sub-specialty support is very good. On average, CVPH has 10,220 admissions, 900 births, 50,000 ER visits and 21,000 surgical procedures annually.
- Locum will have a lot of autonomy so new grads may not be the best fit
