PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY:

• Four Board Eligible/Board Certified general Gastroenterologists are needed to join a large multi-specialty group practice. They have a large number of physicians representing various specialties.

• They need two Gastroenterologists for the Manhattan office, one Gastro for their Nassau County, Long Island office, and one Gastro for their Suffolk County Long Island office.

• They have two gastroenterologists, one Physician Assistant and one Nurse Practitioner working in each office site.

• These four gastroenterology positions are 100% Outpatient.

• Call is handled over the phone.

• Established twenty-four years ago, these excellent gastroenterology opportunities are due to increased growth and expansion.

• They are affiliated with an academic medical center.

• There is an opportunity for an academic appointment.

• Office Hours: Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Duties/Responsibilities:
  

  • Examining all patients for any possible diseases of the digestive system, and prescribing the proper treatment for each one.

  • Some of the conditions/diseases diagnosed by the gastro include: Acid Reflux, Ulcers, Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Hepatitis-C, Polyps in the large intestine, Jaundice, Hemorrhoids, Blood in the stool, Pancreatitis, and Colon Cancer.

• Gastroenterologists who will be completing their fellowships during 2019 and during the summer of 2020, and gastroenterologists who have prior work experience and are currently in practice are all welcome to apply and will be strongly considered.
