A hospital based in Virginia is looking for a gastroenterologist who is able to provide locum tenens coverage for one month beginning in early June with a possible extension. On a typical day, the provider can expect to see five patients for a variety of cases including IP Gastro, Upper GI endoscopy (w/biopsy, w/foreign body removal, w/fulguration of bleeder, w/injection of varicies, w/banding of varicies, w/ERCP), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, w/PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastronomy). The schedule will be from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. plus 24/7 call coverage on weekdays. No weekend call. This facility uses Epic EMR.
