Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois.
Two Monday am to Monday am stretches every 8 weeks starting ~March/April 2019 to undetermined end date (pending additional perm recruitment)
Inpatient Gastroenterology Physician Locum need
IL active license needed
Start date will be March/April 2019 depending on credentialing
Will work up to 14 shifts per 8 week schedule – Monday (7a) thru Monday (7a) stretches
Reason for coverage: Using locums while they are recruiting for perm
Specific work hours:Orientation 7:30a-5p will be the first day of the assignment
Locum Schedule to be Mon 7am to the following Mon 7aEvery day Mon-Sun: 7a-5p Inpatient Rounding & Call
Every night Mon-Sun: 5p-7a After hours call
Procedures required:Inpatient rounding and calls through the full week, consult service – not primary admitting. After hours transfer calls, procedural sedation and upper/lower endoscopy required. M-F supported by partner that manages inpatient procedures needs 7a-5p Weekend full inpatient service as above and in addition to managing inpatient procedure needs.
