Tenet Healthcare is actively seeking a Pancreaticobiliary Specialist/Advanced Endoscopist with a large group who is affiliated with Brookwood Medical Center.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a 14 physician Gastroenterology group with satellite locations throughout Central Alabama. Compensation is guaranteed the first year and ancillary services are paid in addition to. The practice includes a specialty pharmacy on site with a fulltime Pharm D. Hospitalist rotation reduces inpatient work. Call is shared with all partners and is approximately 1:9 weekends and 1 ½ night calls per month. Partnership track is available.

Brookwood Baptist Medical Center is a 607-bed full service medical facility located in Metro Birmingham, Alabama, with over 2,500 employees and volunteer staff. This is the largest facility in the Brookwood Baptist Health network and admits approximately 25,000 patients annually. It offers a wide range of clinical, specialized medical, and surgical services. The hospital is conveniently located ten minutes from downtown, where the city is brimming with restaurants, music venues, greenways, a robust art scene, nightlife, and shopping.

Birmingham is the largest city in Alabama with a population of 1.1 million people in the great metropolitan area. There is easy access to Alabama’s Gulf Coast and other major metropolitan cities like Nashville and Atlanta. The greater Birmingham area offers excellent schools (both public and private), a major college of medicine, golf courses, semi-pro sports teams, and multiple state and locate parks.

Candidates must be BE/BC and eligible to obtain licensure in the State of Alabama.
