Immediate need in the Fort Myers, Florida area near the airport, part time/full time Gastroenterology opportunity. Seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterlologist to join a well established single specialty, expanding group of three others; the call schedule is one weekend a month, shared with three other physicians, for an eventual call goal of 1:5 (they expect to have 2 more GI's on board by end of 2018). EUS is not required for this position but is welcome and therapeutic endoscopy such as ERCP is a plus but not a requirement. The candidate will be joining a highly reputable GI group with physicians with decades of experience in all GI procedures. The group is highly regarded in the community since the 1990s. The competitive salary is negotiable and contingent upon experience.
