Medcare Staffing is seeking a BC Family Medicine physician to provide locums coverage at their established practice. Historic Edenton, offering beautiful waterfront living on the Albemarle Sound, is located 70 miles from Norfolk, VA and 90 miles from North Carolina’s Outer Banks.
Dates Needed: Ongoing during recruitment with shifts beginning as soon as credentialed
Highlights include:
- Established practice with a loyal patient base
- Provider will see all ages
- 100% outpatient
- No ICU responsibilities
- Must have BLS certification
- 1.5 physicians in practice and 1 APP
- Onsite lab, EKG machine, 12 exam rooms (3 will be dedicated to the provider), dedicated LPN and MA, and onsite health coach
- Clinic hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (4 or 4.5 day work week available)
- System-wide integrated EMR – EPIC
- Average number of patient per day: 20
