Provider’s Role: Family Medicine Physician

• Location: Akron, Ohio (40 Mins from Cleveland)
• Perform physical examinations of new and existing patients and determine clinical laboratory tests required.
• Interprets examination findings and test results and implements treatment plans.
• Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains data through interviews.
• Provides continuing, comprehensive health maintenance and medical care to the entire family unit, to include preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health.
• Directs ambulatory care services; participates in established after-hours call group.
• Promote patient-centered care through a team approach with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Participates in procedures according to training and demonstrated ability.
• Determines need for consultation and assists in medical care treatment provided at the direction of other specialists.
• Collaborates with Advanced Practice Nurses and Physician Assistants.
• May teach family practice residents and medical students.

Background Profile: Family Medicine Physician

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Ability to hold an unrestricted state of Ohio MD or DO licensure
• H1B Visa Sponsorship if necessary
• Current DEA Registration.
