Assume a Ready Made, outpatient employed opportunity close to Nashville. No State Income Tax! The Regional Health System is seeking a B/E or B/C Family Practice or Internal Medicine physician to join a highly respected practice that has served the community for over thirty years. You will have the option of working four ten hour days or three twelve hour days in a clinic located seven minutes from the hospital. The office is 5,000 square feet, with six exam and one procedure room. There is one Nurse Practitioner at present. You will be busy fast as our beloved physician assists you as he transitions into retirement. Lawrenceburg is centrally located within a short drive to Nashville, Florence & Huntsville. This is an excellent opportunity that will encompass a service area of over 84,000. Diagnostic imaging services at the hospital include in-house 1.5 MRI, 64-Slice CT, Radiography, Ultrasound and PACS accessible from home or office. With an excellent Hospitalist program providing inpatient care, the new physician has the option of outpatient only or following their own. Generous compensation package that includes sign on, relocation, cme, paid vacation, full benefits, 401K, deferred savings plan and student loan assistance. Enjoy two state parks for outdoor recreation, country club with eighteen hole golf course, swimming and tennis. About the Hospital: STRHS - is a 99-bed acute care facility, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the Society of Chest Pain Centers. The hospital has served the area and the surrounding counties since 1974. STRHS - expanded its facility and services in 1991 with the addition of an Outpatient Surgery Unit, a state-of-the-art 24-hour physician-staffed Emergency Department and an Intensive Care Unit. The hospital opened a Physical Rehabilitation Unit in 1997 and a Women’s Health Center in 1999. Diagnostic imaging services include in-house MRI, Nuclear Medicine, 64-slice CT Scanner, Radiography, Digital Mammography and Ultrasound. Additionally, a 10- bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. In 2009, a $5.6 million expansion and renovation of the Emergency and Outpatient Departments was completed. This expansion doubled the size of our Emergency Department, separated our Emergency and Outpatient Waiting Areas as well as added two more rooms to our Outpatient Department.
The Community: The County has eight elementary schools, one middle school and three high schools as well as many private education opportunities.
