Office based job - no call unless you want to earn more money. Work 8 am to 5 pm M-F. Average 25 patients per day. Group of 16 providers total (7 Hospitalists, 9 mid-level providers) in the group. Three doctors doing office based work 50% of their time and the balance doing Inpatient work. One Nurse Practitioner working in the office full time. They have plenty of patients.
Income range: $180,000 - $200,000 plus full benefits and you can increase your income by taking call or rounding in the nursing homes. Full benefits. Walk into a busy practice. Great benefits plan including 3 weeks’ vacation and one-week cme and allowance. Possible sign on and relocation. They have a stellar retirement plan which gives the doctors a minimum of 3% contribution automatically from practice.
