• 2 other primary care physicians on staff.
• A lot of swing bed patients.
• Average census is about 7-8 patients.
• Would take roughly 10 days of call per month.
• ER physicians admit and Internal or Family Medicine Physicians would round on the patient the following day (they have 24 hours to round). Would also do outpatient.
• The majority of the work would be clinic work due to small census at a critical access hospital.

Located in Floyd County, the area is part of the Cumberland Plateau of the Appalachian Mountain range and consists of 393 square miles. Drained by the Louisa Fork of the Big Sandy River, it has elevation ranges of 641 feet above sea level to over 2000 feet on higher peaks. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy Jenny Wiley State Resort Park as well as many other recreational opportunities that other local parks offer. Multiple golf courses are in the area, along with entertainment and music venues.
