New FQHC opening in the Columbus, OH area is seeking a BC Family Practice, Pediatric or Internal Medicine physician for their Medical Director. Seeking candidates with public health or experience in a community health clinic setting (FQHC experience highly preferred). This will be a mix of both administrative and clinical. Initally probably 75% clinical/25% admin, but at the FQHC grows probably be 75% admin/25% clinical. The medical director, acting as the chief medical officer, is responsible for providing leadership and direction. The medical director will work collaboratively with the executive team on clinical strategy and approach to ensure the health center’s overall goals. Hours will be normal 8a-4:30 Monday-Friday.
