Overview:

Optum is looking for a Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care Float team in South bay region. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details:

• Shifts include Monday – Friday, 8 – 5 PM
• Average 18-22 patients per day
• See patients of all ages, newborns to geriatric age
• Will travel to different clinic sites within designated region

Requirements:

• Unrestricted CA Medical License / BLS
• Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
• BE/BC in Family Medicine / Internal Medicine
• At least 1-3 years experience, managed care background preferred
• Comfortable seeing patients of all ages
• EMR Proficient
