Liberty University is recruiting faculty and is seeking a board-certified family medicine physician for an exciting academic opportunity.
The incoming physician-educator will serve as a faculty member with Liberty’s medical school and engage clinically with the Centra Health System Family Medicine Residency Program. Family physicians work collaboratively teaching students and residents in a community-based clinical and educational setting.

- The successful candidate will possess superior clinical and interpersonal skills as well as a passion for medical education.
- In this role, you’ll serve as a faculty member in an established 9-9-9 residency program with an excellent faculty-to-resident ratio.
- As a clinical educator, you will engage in the clinical practice of family medicine while teaching students and residents to enhance their learning in clinical settings, classroom environments, and simulation-based settings,
- The schedule includes a combination of student and resident clinical supervision, direct clinical care, and engagement in the administration of family medicine residents’ education.
- The primary outpatient clinic is a 28,000-square-foot freestanding facility specifically designed for the residency program.
- As a faculty member, you will contribute to the collaborative development of competency-based medical education with medical school and residency program colleagues.
