BIG STONE GAP, VA (Appalachian Highlands) - Family Medicine (Program Director) Opportunity Program Director needed to lead an 18 resident Family Medicine program in the beautiful Appalachian Highlands at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. Ballad Health is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic academic physician leader who is looking for the challenge of academic leadership, while remaining engaged in stimulating clinical work.

Lonesome Pine Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program is associated with Lincoln Memorial University’s Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Role Requirements:

  • At least 3 years clinical experience in Family Medicine
  • At least 3 years of graduate medical education administrative and/or educational experience prior to appointment.
  • Current certification by The American Board of Family Medicine
