Great Opportunity; Expand your health medicine horizons in the heart of the West, 2-4 hrs. from Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, LA and San Diego, CA. Come join the best little Hospital in rural Arizona and work with great people. Immediate Family Medicine physician opening in Hospital Owned Rural Health Clinics.
J1's Welcome * Full time with great Benefit Pkg. including, health, dental & vision, retirement, Life, AD&D and LTD coverage * Also, includes 8 holidays, 20 PTO days per year and $2500 CME reimbursement plus three days paid time off.
Clinic staffed with physician plus midlevel. Physician practice is 65% Medicare. Heavy volume in winter. Expect to see 25-28 patients per day. Competitive salary, benefits, bonus. Employed position with a salary depending on experience. Relocation up to $15,000 with a two year contract. The County is designated as a Health Professional Shortage Area - Pay off your student loans while serving a community in need!
When people think of a desert community, they always ask, “How hot does it get?’ We prefer to think that we have 8 months of perfect, 2 months of warm/hot, and we just don’t think about July and August! Between water sports on the Colorado River, desert hiking and biking, along with many trails for the off-roader, the area is a mecca for the outdoors enthusiast. With five offsite clinics and a growing list of outpatient services, we’re considering changing our name from “hospital” to “health services”. The facility is owned by the district board and has been leased to a non-profit community based 501(c)(3) for over 40 years. The hospital is financially sound and has growth potential that needs 21st century direction.
Join a great group of people. Our hospital is a not for profit community hospital, financially healthy and growing. The Hospital serves our community with cardiology, nuclear med, interventional radiology and surgery. Excellent digital imaging equipment including 64-slice. Our medical staff is a great resource and excellent to work with. No routine admissions although will serve as emergency backup for hospitalists.
Requirements: Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine, have a current or pending AZ License, have a current & unrestricted DEA, Clean Databank and No current significant malpractice history. Please, no need to apply if you do not meet the requirements.
