Wilson North Carolina is one of this state’s most beautiful cities, known for many years as the “City of Trees.” But in addition to the outer beauty is an inner framework of industry, education and opportunity that makes this a great city in which to raise a family.
Wilson is a community committed to educational excellence, economic prosperity, and cultural diversity and fulfillment. Our residents benefit from a strong public education system; a city treasure called the Imagination Station Science Museum; abundant arts, sports and youth activities; strong religious and spiritual centers; and employment opportunities at a variety of manufacturing and service companies.
Residents and companies in Wilson enjoy the advantages of proximity to the Raleigh-Durham metro area, as well as living close to cities such as Rocky Mount and Greenville, North Carolina. North Carolina’s beautiful beaches are within a short driving distance, and Interstate 95 easily connects business to their marketplaces on the East Coast.
With nearly 50,000 residents, Wilson is in the unique position to offer city opportunities and lifestyles with small town history and warmth.
