Overview of the Role:

The Virtual Clinic Physician will be responsible for providing direct patient care in Privia’s Virtual Clinic. Day-to-day, this role will be treating patients virtually through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform and will support efforts in developing clinical protocols and virtual care guidelines along with Privia’s clinical leadership.

We are looking for a board certified family medicine MD or DO who is passionate about transforming primary care, tech-savvy, experienced in delivering care through telehealth modalities.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Treat patients via telemedicine using the technology platform through Privia Health
  • Support the development of virtual care protocols, guidelines, policies, and training programs for providers
  • Participate in key virtual health strategy and business development meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active MD or DO required with Board Certification in Family Practice
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine (VA, FL, TX, GA, DC, and/or MD license(s) preferred)
  • 2+ years of clinical practice post residency and active in clinical practice
  • Experience delivering care through telehealth modalities
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
