First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking to employ a Family Medicine physician in the highly desirable area of Sarasota, Florida. We are located approximately 60 minutes south of Tampa and minutes from top rated beaches of Siesta Key, Lido Key and Longboat Key. The community offers many activities for people of all ages, and we are known for having some of the best schools in the nation.

The Group is made up of two Family Medicine physicians, one IM/Peds physician and 2 APRNs. They see patients of all ages (newborn through geriatric) in the clinic and they round on patients in Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Ideal candidate must be interested in practicing traditional medicine (inpatient/outpatient).

Employment contracts start with a generous 2 year guaranteed salary with bonus potential. Excellent comprehensive benefits are provided by the group - health, dental, vision, disability, life, 403B Retirement Plan, CME, PTO, holidays and many other perks. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Very busy practice with existing volume to quickly ramp up a new physician.
• Income potential is in the $300,000-$400,000++ range once fully ramped up and seeing patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
• Clinic volume averages 20-25 patients per day. Inpatient census fluctuates with season but averages 5-7 patients.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine preferred or Board Eligible if within 3 years of completing training
• Licensed in the State of Florida is required but we will accept CVs from physicians interested in applying for a FL license. We will pay for the FL license and DEA if you apply as the result of a job acceptance with our organization.
• We are a not-for-profit entity. Physicians can participate in the PSLF program if employed by FPG.
• As an employee of a public, State of Florida organization, physicians are entitled to sovereign immunity.
