The UTRGV School of Medicine Department of Family Medicine seeks faculty to join a newly established hospitalist program at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine. The successful candidate will work as a hospitalist. Additionally, there will involvement in the educational activities for residents and medical students. Academic rank will be awarded commensurate with experience and credentials.

While previous experience in a residency program teaching role is preferred, individuals just finishing residency training are highly encouraged to apply.
As faculty, they will also administer and maintain a professional educational environment conducive to educating residents in each of the ACGME competencies and in assisting them to reach their individual Milestones.

Candidate must be an MD/DO, BC/BE in Family Medicine possess or be eligible for a Texas Medical license and able to obtain appropriate medical staff appointments.
