This east Georgia medical center is seeking board certified/board eligible physicians trained in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine. The candidates will be considered to staff an urgent care walk in clinic setting. Hours 8 A.M. to 7 P.M. Mon – Fri and 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. Sat & Sun – 14 shifts per month.

Internal Medicine and Family Medicine candidates, will be required to have 1 to 2 years of experience in an urgent care setting. The Urgent Care candidate would be expected to provide evaluation and treatment for a wide range of illnesses and injuries in a patient population which

includes adults, children and infants. The Urgent Care candidate will be expected to document all patient care in our EMR system, including in clinic evaluation and treatment, as well as, any

communications regarding patient care between the provider and patient or between provider and healthcare personnel. The Urgent Care Candidate would be expected to be scheduled for shift work which includes extended hours during the week and weekend as well as holiday hours. The weekend and holiday hours are shared equally among physician providers. The Urgent Care candidate should have experience working with/supervising Advanced Practice Providers in an urgent care practice in the medical management and treatment of urgent care patients.

This salaried physician will receive a competitive salary based on MGMA guidelines, full employee benefits (including profit sharing, relocation expenses and educational loan assistance), as well as, office setup and support from the administrative management team.
