A hospital based in Nevada is looking for a family practice physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately three months beginning in mid-May with a chance of extension. On a typical day, the locum tenens physician can expect to see between twenty and twenty-five patients of all ages for a variety of cases including cold, cough, flu, sutures, stitches, chronic care, hypertension and diabetes plus standard outpatient primary care. The schedule could be either Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or the provider can work four 10 hour shifts instead. This facility uses Greenway EMR.
