We also provide continuity of care for chronic neurological illnesses with specialists dedicated to cognitive disorders and many others. This work has been named to Beckers Hospital Reviews 100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Neurosurgery and Spine Programs and has also earned the recognition of Healthgrades for top 5% in the nation for neurosciences. Our certified Comprehensive Stroke Center is the first Joint Commission certified comprehensive stroke center in the greater Dayton region. We were recognized by Healthgrades as two of Americas 100 best hospitals for stroke care. The American Heart Association/American Stroke Association awarded several of our affiliated centers with a Get With the GuidelinesB. - Stroke Gold Plus award. We welcomed neurology residents as new members of our neuroscience family in July 2014 and after July 2016 we will have the full 16 residents within the program benefitting from the academic experience created within the center. In addition, we have a dynamic research collaboration with Wright State University and have contributed to numerous publications in nationally recognized journals solidifying our commitment to leading in our fields.
