We have an urgent need for a Locum Tenens Adult Primary Care in Alaska

First Vacancy starts ASAP. Assignment is for 3-6 months.

Training & Orientation start: ASAP

The candidate(s) need to be computer literate and be able to work with MEDITECH or similar Electronic Medical Record system.

Candidates must have an Alaska license in place.

This assignment is for inpatient coverage at an acute care, inpatient, locked facility.

Primary Care physician working with a psychiatry in patient load and will see the adult, forensic, adolescent inpatient flow of admissions and discharges. Will be a the main Primary Care physician working with and supervising a team of PA’s and an ANP doing H & P’s while tending to a daily “sick call” patient list. Provide clinically acceptable medical services; ensure accurate diagnosis and prompt, safe and effective treatment for all patients.

Physician needs to be BC/BE or residency graduate with-in 5 years in FM, IM, EM or General Practice.

Hours are 8am – 4pm.
