We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to complete the health history and perform physical evaluations of psychiatric adolescent patients admitted to our outpatient PHP and IOP facility located in Cedar Park, TX. You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team, in which you will communicate any medical concerns at time of admission and throughout the patients’ treatment.

Position Details:
  • Oversees the quality of care delivered to his/her patients.
  • Assesses patient(s) and complete health history and physical evaluations in a timely manner. Addresses medical concerns at time of admission and throughout the patients’ treatment.
  • Communicates medical decisions to staff to ensure appropriate care.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards.
  • Completes all documentation requirements legibly and within timeframes established by Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations.
  • Participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team and participates collaboratively in scheduled staffing regarding the treatment of his/her patients.
  • Demonstrates appropriate medication administration and ensures that documentation regarding medications complies with facility and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school doctoral program required; completed residency in family medicine, board certification preferred.
  • License: Current unencumbered medical doctor (MD) licensure in the state of Texas
