We are representing a client seeking a Family Medicine physician for a prestigious health center in historic Norfolk, VA. This is a locum opportunity while client conducts search for perm physician.
Position details:
Norfolk is a waterfront city in southeastern Virginia. It’s home to Naval Station Norfolk, a massive naval base on Chesapeake Bay. Nauticus is a maritime museum that features the Battleship Wisconsin, a huge WWII warship. The Chrysler Museum of Art showcases a vast collection of glass art, plus European and American paintings and sculpture. The riverside Virginia Zoo is home to bears, birds, lions and farm animals.

Position details:
- ASAP - ongoing during perm recruiting
- Locum only or locum to perm
- M-F 8a-5p
- Board Certification required in Family Medicine (ABFM)
- All types of cases: physicals, sick visits, follow-ups, new pts, etc
- Avg pts/day: 15-20 - birth to geriatric
- Bilingual is a bonus
- 2-3 Providers on site (Physicians and NPs)
- A few LPNs and MAs on site
- Location has medical and dental on site
- EMR: eClinicalworks
